Air Purifiers and Indoor Air Quality
Americans spend 90% of their time indoors. Don’t you want the air where you’re spending most of your time to be as clean as humanly possible? Things like dust, allergens, pet dander, viruses, bacteria, and more can float through your home undetected by the naked eye. Obviously, you don’t want you or your family breathing those pollutants in. Air purifiers are a great way to reduce the amount of natural pollutants in the air. When it comes to your family’s air quality, you don’t want anything but the best, and that’s what our goal is at Fred F. Collis & Sons. Poor quality air carries those harmful particles and microscopic debris that can result in a number of respiratory health problems that can prove devastating on your well-being. Don’t wait a second longer than you have to, call us today. You’ll breathe a sigh of relief when you do.
iWave Air Purifiers
One of our most popular air purifiers is iWave-R, designed for residential systems.
Here’s how it works:
iWave uses patented technology called needle-point bi-polar ionization, to reduce viruses, bacteria, mold, allergens, particles, smoke, and odors in your air.
When the ions come in contact with viruses, bacteria or mold, they remove the hydrogen molecules – without them, the pathogens have no source of energy and will die. The ions also attach to allergens like pollen and other particles, causing them to band together until they are large enough to be caught by your ventilation system’s air filter.
Another line of air purifiers we carry are RGF. These include:
- The REME HALO® in-duct air purifier, which produces hydroperoxides which are distributed through your living spaces and kill microbial contaminants in your home
- The HALO-LED™ in-duct air purifier, the industry’s first LED air purification system that is both mercury-free and zero ozone compliant
