Who Qualifies for the Comfort Home Program?

Comfort Home Packages

NYSERDA offers three pre-designed insulation packages. Your Collis contractor helps you choose the one that fits your home and your goals.

Good Package – Up to $2,500: Air seal and insulate the attic and rim joist. Homeowners save an average of 14% on heating and cooling bills.
Better Package – Up to $3,000: Everything in the Good Package, plus wall and floor insulation. Average savings jump to 20%.
Windows Add-On – Up to $2,000: After air sealing and insulation are complete, upgrade to ENERGY STAR windows for an additional 8% in savings.

NYSERDA currently caps combined incentives at $3,000 per project, so we’ll point you toward the package that delivers the biggest return for your specific home. If you completed a Comfort Home package more than a year ago, you may be eligible for another $2,000 toward another package.
